Back one of Borough’s most dynamic and versatile players. Nicky Potts, number 14, winger, was born in Nuneaton and grew up in Coventry, coming through the academies at Aston Villa and Bridgwater before earning a soccer scholarship to Ball State University in America, where she spent four years developing her game. She returned to England as a quick, skilful wide player with six England youth international caps to her name, and, in a perhaps surprising twist, was nationally ranked in badminton as a teenager. Since joining Borough she’s been a consistent match-winner, earning Player of the Match honours in the National League Cup victory over Arsenal U21 and chipping in with crucial goals throughout the season.
